The Internal Revenue Service, better known as the IRS, has previously issued three stimulus checks to mitigate financial hardships and increase the cashflow in the economy. These IRS Tax Stimulus Checks were given based on different eligibility criteria to the US citizens. The latest stimulus check, i.e., stimulus check 3 delivered by the government, was allocated to individuals having gross adjusted income up to 75,000, household heads making up to $112,500, and couples that are married contributing to a gross adjusted income of $160,000.

After the disbursement of the IRS Tax Stimulus 3, it’s time for the government to release the Stimulus Check 4, citizens can feel the tension in the air related to the latest information regarding the IRS Tax Stimulus Check 4.

4th Stimulus Check: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to qualify for the 4th Stimulus check may vary depending upon your state. However, several conditions are crucial to be fulfilled, which include:

  1. An individual having an annual gross income of not more than $75,000.
  2. Heads of household to have an AGI not exceeding $112,500.
  3. Joint filing of a married couple with AGI not mounting up to $150,000
  4. Guardians and parents who are eligible for the child tax credit.

Having an AGI exceeding the provided parameters doesn’t completely rule out of the equation, interested candidates can seek a partial stimulus check. It is also essential to be mindful that for every $100 in their AGI exceeds a $5 reduction will be made to the provided amount.

Various states are delivering a stimulus to their residents varying in terms of money granted and conditions essential to comply with.

Expected Date Direct Deposit for Social Security Recipients

It is to make the Social Security Recipients clear that despite Social Security being a part of the previous stimulus round, no information associated with it has yet been disclosed by the government.

States Providing Stimulus Checks

As discussed earlier, several states are giving out stimulus check 4 to a specific group of individuals. The eligible Group of people belonging to the states given below should have received their checks by now:

1. Arizona Family Rebates

To be considered for the Arizona Family Rebates you must:

  1. Be a resident of Arizona.
  2. have claimed the state’s tax credit for dependents on your 2021 tax return.
  3. have owed $1(minimum) in taxes during 2019,2020, or 2021.

Candidates Qualifying for the rebate can get up to $750 where, $250, will be given for a dependent under the age of 17 years and $100 for dependants over 17 years. It is essential to note that only 3 dependents will be taken into account.

2. Alabama Rebate Checks

To be considered for the Alabama Rebate Checks, candidates must make sure that:
They’ve filed a 2021 Individual Income Tax Return, which should’ve been received by the Alabama Department of Revenue(ALDOR) either on or before October 17, 2022.

$150 is the amount rebate for a single, head of a family, or married filing separately, and $300 is for married filing jointly.

Ineligible candidates include non-residents, estates or trusts, and individuals who were declared as dependents during the 2021 tax year.

3. Colorado TABOR Refunds

To receive the Colorado TABOR Refunds, candidates are required to file a 2023 individual income tax return or PTC application.

The eligibility will be decided based on state revenue surpassing the TABOR limit.

Individual taxpayers will be given $800, and $1,600 will be given to the couples filing jointly.

4. Georgia Tax Rebates

Eligibility: 1. The candidate should’ve filed tax returns for 2021 and 2022.

2. Should’ve been filed by April 18, 2023, the tax deadline or the extended deadline of October 16, 2023.

3. have had a tax liability for the 2021 tax year.

Amount Disbursed: – This will be done based on the 2021 tax year liability.
– Can be up to $500.

5. Maine Relief Payments

Eligibility: – By October 31, 2022, the candidate should’ve filed a 2021 Maine Personal Income Tax return as a full-time resident by October 31, 2022.
– Should be declared as a dependent on someone else’s tax returns.
– Individuals and married filing separately should not exceed the limit of $100,000, head-of-households are required to not surpass $150,000 and $200,000 for married filing jointly.

Amount Disbursed: – eligible residents will gain $450
– $900 will be received by eligible married couples.

6. Massachusetts 62F Refunds

Eligibility: – Should’ve paid 2021 Massachusetts personal income taxes.
– filed for the 2021 return by October 17, 2022.

Amount Disbursed: About 14% of the state income tax liability from the 2021 tax return will be transferred.

7. Minnesota Rebate Checks

Eligibility: – Couples who’ve filed jointly having an AGI of $150,000 or less in the year 2021 may receive up to $250.
– Individuals having an AGI of $75,000 or less can receive $260.
– Moreover, for each dependant, $260 will be given for up to 3 three dependents.

Amount Disbursed: Qualifying candidates may be able to receive up to $1,300 depending upon their filing status and dependents.

8. Montana Tax Rebates

Eligibility: – Depends on the 2021 tax return details.
– Should’ve used or owned a property while being a primary resident for at least seven months in 2022 and 2023.
– Must’ve paid their respective 2022 and 2023 property taxes.

Amount Disbursed: – Up until $2,500 may be transferred for income tax rebate.
– and/or $675 for the property tax rebate.

9. New Mexico Rebate

Eligibility: Depends on the 2021 filing status.

Amount Disbursed: – Head of households, married filing jointly, or qualifying widow(er) will be transferred $1,000 to their respective accounts.
– Individuals and married filing separately will be given $500.

10. Pennsylvania Rebate

Eligibility: – A person aged at least 18 having any form of disability.
– A 65 year old or a widow(er) at least 50 year old.
– with an annual income limit of $35,000 for homeowners and $15,000 for renters(leaving aside 50% of Social Security Benefits).

Amount Disbursed: – Can range up to $650. Depends on income and home ownership status.

11. South Carolina Tax Rebate

Eligibility: Should’ve filed 2021 South Carolina state income tax return by February 15, 2023.
– Should owe state income tax for the 2021 tax year.

Amount Disbursed: Depends on 2021 tax liability minus credit, can be up to $800.

12. Virginia Tax Rebate 2023
