They strongly believe that the holy bible is the only authoritative doctrine of faith and practice. The foundation of this scholarship was laid by George Pepperdine who was a lifelong member of a group of people performing religious worship in the churches of Christ.
Church of Christ fellowship started because of the American Restoration Movement. The main aim of this movement is to restore unity among Christian believers. This is an autonomous society which strictly believes in the sanctity and preaching of the Bible and runs many welfare programs and this scholarship is one of them.

Pepperdine Christian Leadership Award 2024
In order to get this scholarship awards the applicant or student must be a member of a congregation that is associated with the Churches of Christ. Like many other scholarships, this scholarship also demands a letter of recommendation written by a church leader performing the duty of minister, elder, youth minister etc. A letter of recommendation gives necessary weightage to the scholarship application as it provides you necessary credibility that can distinguish you in the pool of applicants.
The one who will write your letter of recommendation should be an active member of the Church of Christ congregation. The application fall deadline is February 15, and for the spring season, it is on November 1.
Submitting the recommendation and application form to get Pepperdine Christian Leadership Award
To apply for this scholarship, you need to get access to the Pepperdine application portal. You can successfully get through the application portal once you submit the application form. You also need to submit a letter of recommendation written by a church leader performing the duty of minister, elder, youth minister, etc, and must be associated with the Church of Christ. Once you submit the application form you will receive access to the Pepperdine application portal. After login into the portal, you can request a recommendation letter from church leaders as mentioned earlier. The recommender will receive an e-mail that will have a link to fill out the letter of recommendation on your behalf.
