It is a merit-based scholarship program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). This program provides scholarships to undergraduate students majoring in computer programming, information systems, business technology administration (with a technical focus), computer engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical, biochemical, environmental engineering, or another similar field.
The College of Engineering and Informational Technology (COEIT) is a department that has direct support from CWIT initiatives.
