Eligibility to get NC State Forestry and Environmental Resources Academic Scholarship
- As mentioned earlier, this scholarship seeks those students who are doing very well academically. Necessary academic standards that high school graduates have to maintain an unweighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.75which will be based on a 4.0 scale.
- The applicant has to submit either a Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) score or American College Testing (ACT) score, the threshold for SAT is kept at 1250 in maths and verbal sections and a score of 25 in the ACT. This test is kept to check the abilities of a candidate, the number scored in these tests helps the committee to decide on a scholarship, as it must be given to the right candidate.
- There is relaxation in maintaining the grades if you are a transfer or current student. In that case, the minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) has to be maintained at 3.5 based on a 4.0 scale.
- The scholarship value however depends on the funding and additional funding sometimes is available for out-of-state students.
- To submit your application to get one particular scholarship, you need to login in with your unity ID.
- The academic scholarship, which is one of the scholarships offered by NC State Forestry and Environmental Resources, can be renewed for whatever minimum number of semesters is required to complete the current majors. This period should not be more than 3 years in case the recipient of the scholarship does not change their major. These conditions will only be maintained if the recipient maintains a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or above.
